Fallout will return in 2024 in its most expansive expansion ever!
Early next year, Fallout series will make its triumphant return – but without anything related to Fallout 5.
As previously revealed by Bethesda exec Todd Howard, Fallout 5 won’t be released any time soon. Development for its follow up game The Elder Scrolls VI should kickoff after Starfield is finished later this year.
Though some fans might take issue with this decision, most players remain satisfied with past Fallout titles due to regular updates with gameplay mods as well as original quests and expansions.
Are You Longing for Something Official? Fallout will soon become its own expansion for Magic: The Gathering tabletop card game.
Magic: The Gather’s Universes Beyond expansion brings several alternate universes into conflict with magic – Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG being one of them!
Recently Magic: The Gathering has seen several iconic franchises featured as card expansions – Doctor Who and Lord Of The Rings being the two primary ones, the latter even offering up one-off “The One Ring” cards which sold for an astounding $2 Million price!
Wizards of the Coast announced this development through a livestream, where multiple expansions including Fallout, Assassin’s Creed and Final Fantasy expansions were teased as potential additions early next year.
Little is known about its contents; however, based on past expansions’ example it should include standard booster packs as well as promo boxes containing unique cards to add to your collection.
Though not what many were hoping for, it’s nice to see our beloved series featured outside of video game format – hopefully reaching new audiences along the way! Additionally, Fallout TV show production continues apace, looking great!
Magic: The Gathering will launch its Fallout expansion during the first quarter of 2024.
