Starfield is now available for all to download! This week.
Starfield could become accessible for everyone to download this week if a newly leaked listing on Amazon holds true.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers and those who pre-ordered Starfield are already able to download it – but please be mindful that just downloading doesn’t automatically guarantee you can play! Early access members should expect their access token on 1 September while regular consumers will have theirs delivered by 6 September.
Given that the game clocks in at an impressive 125GB, we should have plenty of time to download and test out our copy prior to its release – provided there won’t be an unexpectedly large day-one patch that requires our immediate attention!
But for those of us who didn’t pre-order Starfield yet? There is some good news – according to an Amazon listing leaked earlier, everyone will be able to pre-download Starfield beginning August 9th! Keeping an eye out, pre-downloaders could get ready!
Amazon could have posted inaccurate or falsified data regarding The Simpsons game release date; nonetheless, fans seem pleased that this information seems valid and have plenty of time to install their copy before getting off work for gameplay sessions – nothing worse than booking time off work just to wait several hours or even the entire day for downloads!
Starfield subreddit fans are wary of an expensive day one patch which could destroy launch day excitement for this Bethesda Softworks release; Fallout 76 had one that was bigger than its actual game! On the bright side, however, Starfield’s 12-month delay and Bethesda Softworks assurances of it being their least buggy game are positive signs we should all hit the ground running come September.
