According to the leaked presentation, *Project X7* would have unfolded over five acts, with a key plot point involving the murder of Cuno’s father. The game also featured a symbolic box of locusts, though its full significance remains unclear. Much like *Disco Elysium*, the spin-off was expected to have multiple endings, influenced by player choices.
The characters Cuno and Cunoesse, who are encountered in *Disco Elysium* during the investigation of a hanged body, were also central to the canceled game’s story. The duo had planned to escape their troubled lives in Martinaise and start fresh in Le Royaume, a plot that would have been central to the spin-off’s narrative.
