Days Gone Remastered Hypes Major PS5 Improvements Ahead of April 25 Release
*Days Gone Remastered* is set to launch on April 25, bringing significant upgrades to the beloved title. Originally released in 2019 for PS4 and later ported to PC, the remastered version promises to leverage the power of the PS5, offering noticeable improvements in visuals and gameplay.
Creative lead Kevin McAllister from Bend Studio confirmed that *Days Gone Remastered* will feature enhanced lighting, better shadow quality, deeper fog effects, and, most excitingly, larger Freaker hordes—some with over 800 enemies. The remaster also introduces a new game mode, *Horde Assault*, with even bigger battles and more intense action.
In addition to visual upgrades, the remaster includes 10 hours of new content, fresh weapons, and new maps. Hardcore players can also look forward to a *Speedrun Mode*, which tracks time while excluding cinematics. These improvements will not only be available on PS5 but will also enhance the experience for PC players.
Both the PS5 remaster and PC DLC, which includes features from the remastered version, will be available on April 25. Fans of *Days Gone* can expect a truly upgraded experience when the game returns.
