Rumor: Canceled Transformers Game ‘Project Goliath’ Leaks Online
Another unannounced **Transformers game, codenamed “Project Goliath,”** has reportedly been canceled, with newly surfaced leaks offering a look at what might have been.
According to fan site *Tformers*, **Skydance Interactive** was developing the game before it was shelved. Leaked concept art and character designs from artist **Adam Hartley** show a visual blend of **classic G1 aesthetics** and **modern cinematic styles** from the Michael Bay films. One standout design includes **Bumblebee transforming into a dune buggy**, similar to his appearance in *Transformers: Rise of the Beasts*.
Concept art also revealed **Optimus Prime** and multiple **human exo-suit designs**, possibly hinting at gameplay involving both Transformer combat and human-controlled powered armor—similar to story elements seen in the 2023 film.
The cancelation of Project Goliath follows the recent shutdown of **Transformers: Reactivate** by Splash Damage, deepening concerns about the franchise’s gaming future. With no major Transformers release since 2015’s *Devastation*, fans continue to wait for a true comeback.
Skydance Interactive is now focused on **Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra**, expected later this year. Meanwhile, the leaked Goliath materials suggest the game had moved beyond early concept stages, making its cancelation all the more disappointing.
