This past April Fool’s Day, the developers tapped into their funny bones by implying that Call of Duty players only want one thing. And as it turns out, that one thing wasn’t quite as repulsive as you might expect.Infinity Ward, the expansion studio behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, isn’t afraid to inject some comedy into the game.

Just by analysis the phrase “COD players only want one thing,” you’re probably already imagining the rest of the joke’s setup: “…and it’s sickening.” In the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — and much like the meme itself — the one thing players hypothetically want isn’t at all what they might expect: Shipment 10v10.

It may be true that Call of Duty players only want one thing, but it’s safe to assume that consignment 10v10 isn’t it. But perhaps that’s the point. Maybe we’re supposed to be disgusted at the thought of wild, careless violence; of firefights so chaotic that the notion of completing objectives is laughable. Or maybe the joke is that such a mode is in itself disgusting, and we’re playing into a stereotype just by enjoying it. Either way, Shipment 10v10 is back, at least for now, and it’s still an absolute riot
