Giant Squid Studios developed Abzu, which is available on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows. Abzu lets the player play the role of a diver in an ocean. After waking up on the ocean’s surface, they explore the underwater worlds filled with animal and plant life.
He also uncovers ancient technology and submerged ruins. The diver can also explore land-based environments, but only in a few places. The diver discovers new areas as the game progresses and seeks out the culprits behind the destruction of the local environment. The diver follows a straight line through interconnected areas full of marine life.
