The action takes place on the territory of Chernorussia, a fictional post-Soviet country. The country is currently in the civil war, and both the Russian and American armies support the opposing side. The player will start as an ordinary soldier and then go through the difficult but rewarding path of a special unit fighter. After which, he will be considered an experienced veteran under the direct supervision of which, in the end, there’ll be a small army.
The vast area created from the actual territory of the northern Czech Republic is the battlefield. The player will have access to the most extensive arsenal of weapons and an impressive collection of military equipment. The main character will play the roles of the gunner of a tank, driver of an armored personnel carrier, and pilot of a helicopter. Towards the end, you can start building your military base.
The story campaign does not have to be completed. You can continue playing the game for many hours. ArmA 2 makes a great gift for fans of the genre.
