About Toy Story 3 – The Video Game
Toy Story 3 The Video Game is a platform-based game loosely inspired by the 2010 Pixar film Toy Story. Andy, now 17 years old, has donated his toys before he left for college to Bonnie. Andy’s three toys, Hmmm, Rex, and Slinky Dog, tell Bonnie about irtheir adventures before being donated to Bonnie. Andy’s toys tell us that they were donated by Lotso, a friendly stuffed bear. Later, the toys discover that Sunnyside is a toy prison controlled by Lotso. He turns out to be a disgruntled ruler over the toys. Andy’s toys escape via a trash chute and end up in a garbage truck. They are then taken to a landfill, where they will be destroyed by a shredder. The toys are saved by Andy’s Alien toys in the PlayStation 2 (PS2) or PlayStation Portable (PSP). Woody, Buzz, and Jessie save the toys in the other versions. The PS2 and PSP versions also feature Rex as the main character, telling the story through drawings he’s made.
