King’s Bounty 2: Every Starting Character & What They Do

Quick Links

  • Aivar, The Warrior
  • Katharine, The Mage
  • Elisa, The Paladin

A player’s first decision when they start their journey in King’s Bounty 2 is who they will be playing as in this world full of magic and monsters. There are three options: Elisa (Katharine, Aivar) and Elisa (all of whom specialize in different types of gameplay).

Gamers should decide which of the four types of Ideals they want to specialize in. However, it is unnecessary to know much about each Ideal since it’s named and outlines what tactics and troops it will require.

Other factors such as traits and the types of spells a player can use are also important. Some spells are better suited to healing spells than others, so it is important to consider one’s tactical preferences. It is important to remember that troop choice and, therefore, Ideal focus are the main rules of this game. Therefore, it is highly recommended to choose a character based upon their Ideal potential.

Aivar, The Warrior

About Aivar

Aivar was once a knight of a lesser noble family but was exiled for refusing to participate in the final moments. He made his living as a mercenary after that. He received a letter recently from Prince Adrian, offering him a pardon and a position in the Royal Guard. This allowed him to travel to meet with members of the Universal Assembly.

                                                                                                                                                Analyse Of Aivar

Aivar is a straightforward character to play. He focuses on the control, support, and improvement of his troops. His background as both a knight and mercenary captain makes this a fitting choice. He is most known for his battlefield knowledge, but he has good potential to lead the way for the Power Ideal.

Although Aivar can command his units well, he can’t perform the essential function of a commander in King’s Bounty2: being capable of casting spells. Spells can be used to heal and buff allies and debuff and severely damaging enemy units. It is not something that the most magically inclined players should forgo.

Katharine, The Mage

Katharine

Katharine is the head of Nostria’s northern mountains. Her family comes from a distinguished line of counts. She has not spent much time in Austria for the past two decades, as she has been occupied with archaeology and exploring ancient and foreign ruins. One day, she stopped receiving funds for her expeditions and discovered that Maurice, her nephew, had taken control of her Nostria lands. This forced her to contact the Universal Assembly for assistance.
