Battlefield 5 and More Games Are Free to Play for Xbox Live Gold Subscribers This Weekend
Over the last few months, Xbox has added many titles to its game library. The growing number of titles added to the Xbox library is just one example. Xbox Game Pass includes games. The company also offers Free Play Days, which allow Xbox Live Gold members to play certain games for free for a short time. Xbox recently announced the next batch of free-to-play, limited-time games. EA’s title is included. Battlefield 5.
The Xbox’s Free Play Days includes Battlefield 5, Assetto Corsa Competizione and The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited. Battlefield and Assetto Corsa Competizione can be played for free starting Thursday, August 26, at 12:01 AM PDT through Sunday, August 29, at 11:59 PM PDT. The Elder Scrolls Online will be available for a few more hours until Monday, August 30, 7:00 AM PDT. All three games will be available at a substantial discount from the Xbox Store this weekend.
Each game offers something unique for players to enjoy. Battlefield5 lets players experience immersive battles with 64 players and a single-player story mode. It seems logical that Battlefield 5 will be included in Xbox’s free-to-play games, considering that Battlefield 4 was available as part of the Free Play Days program just a few weeks ago. Battlefield 5 will be released in 2042. This is an option for those who want to get back into the series while waiting for the next instalment.
These two games offer alternatives to FPS for players who prefer something other than FPS. Assetto Corsa Competizione lets players take control of some of the fastest cars worldwide in the Official GT World Challenge. The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited is an MMO-like experience that allows players to dive into an extensive RPG world and play the Gates of Oblivion Prologue quest.
This deal is only available to Xbox Live Gold members. Players can also purchase Battlefield 5 via Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers can receive Battlefield5 free of charge on Origin. This game is also included in Xbox Game Pass.
It’s great to see games like Battlefield 5 included in Xbox’s Free Play Days. This gives gamers a chance to try out the title before buying it. It will be fascinating to see which other Xbox games are free-to-play in the future.
