While many video games allow you to collect creatures, DokeV is a new open-world adventure from Pearl Abyss. The game is a mix of several other elements like Pokemon, Monster Hunter, and Splatoon.

The DokeV was showcased in a four-minute trailer during Gamescom 2021. It also featured a few settings. Cartoon children ride on gliders, skateboards and rollerblades, engage in chaotic battles using bizarre and colourful weapons, and even ride animals that look like llamas. It also has a catchy sound.

Pearl Abyss provided some additional details about DokeV in a YouTube description.

DokeV, a new creature-collecting adventure from Pearl Abyss that is open-world action-adventure in an exciting world. It’s full of fascinating stories and set within a vibrant world. Dokebi are whimsical creatures that live alongside humans and inspire people to follow their dreams. The colorful and beautiful world of DokeV has a lot to offer. Get ready to meet tons of Dokebi and embark on an adventure that will rock the world. You never know, they might be dancing right in front of you!

Pearl Abyss stated throughout that DokeV content is still a work-in-progress and is “subject for change,” but there is still much to learn about these Dokebi creatures. I would love to own one of these cool skateboards.
