Riders Republic beta opens to the public for the weekend
The beta version of Riders Republic is now available to the public on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The beta will run from Wednesday, August 25, to Saturday, August 28.
Ubisoft released a trailer introducing the game to the Riders Republic. It is a racing festival that resembles Forza Horizon with X-Games-like bicycling, snowboarding and wingsuit flying.
Riders Republiclaunches on October 28, 2021, on both the beta platforms and on Google Stadia or Amazon Luna. It was first revealed in September 2020 and originally due in February but was delayed to this fall to deliver “the best fun-fueled experience to our players,” Ubisoft Annecy said at the time. The studio also developed Steep 2016, a 2016 snowboarding and skiing video game.
Riders Republic allows players to ski, snowboard, bike and glide in “an extreme sport fantasyland” set in virtual U.S. national parks like Yosemite Valley and Sequoia.
