Jet Set Radio-inspired Bomb Rush Cyberfunk coming to Switch
Developer Team Reptile will bring Bomb Rush Cyberpunk to Nintendo Switch, the graffiti-skating game heavily inspired by Sega’s Jet Set Radio games. The studio revealed Wednesday at Nintendo’s Indie World stream Bomb Rush Cryptofunk as a console exclusive when the Switch launches in 2022.
Bomb Rush Cyberpunk will see players paint, grind rails and dodge the law to become All City Kings. The game will see players recruit a team of characters to help them pull off funky tricks to the beat. The game’s soundtrack will feature new tunes from Hideki Naganuma, known for his work on Sega’s Jet Set Radio, Sega Rally, and Yakuza franchises.
Bomb Rush Cyberpunk was revealed by Team Reptile, creator of Lethal League. According to the developer, the game will be available on “all relevant platforms” next year. We know this includes Steam, which already lists Bomb Rush Cyberpunk as a pre-release.
