Fishing in Genshin Impact
Players had to use their fins to catch fish before Genshin Impact’s 2.1 updates. The new fishing mini-game allows players to find fishing spots and use bait and fishing rods to catch one of 23 new fish species. These can be used to complete quests or achievements and even made into fish meat for cooking.
The new fishing spots in Genshin Impact are different from regular fish caught by swimming in the game. It is important to know when a fishing spot will replenish with fish. This information can help those who want to complete the achievement screen and get all the Primogems for free.
Genshin Impact: Fishing Location Respawn Rates
Players will need to wait three days instead of regular fish, which spawn every day. After a player has removed all the fishy inhabitants from a fishing spot, they will not be available for 72 hours. However, there are a few other ways of getting fish if a player needs more than what the current world of Teyvat map is offering them.
It’s easy to travel to other locations. With 8 fishing spots in Mondstadt and 11 in Liyue and 8 in Inazuma, players are likely not to have explored all of their fishing spots. If a player’s maps are empty or not stocked with the fish they want to catch; they have the option to travel to other Traveler worlds to fish all 27 locations.
