Little-Sadie shared another gouache painting of The Last of Us 2. This time, it depicts a sombre moment in one of the most poignant and revelatory flashbacks. Little-Sadie also shared the work in progress stages of their The Last of Us 2 fan artwork piece. This includes the outline of the stencil and the final product. The sketch shows Ellie silhouetted against a visible background. As the piece evolves through gradual progression images, more detail is added to each element before applying opaque watercolour.
Tiny details can be seen through the artist’s progress images, such as a Firefly insignia on the supply chest that Ellie is sitting on that is no longer visible in the final piece. Little-Sadie’s artwork captures the moment beautifully without Joel and other distinguishable features, aside from Ellie’s clothing and the set-piece surrounding her.
