Fortnite’s Resident Evil is here – Halloween here we are
Although their names may make them sound like the happy couple who just moved in next to each other, you will know that Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are zombie killers if you’re a gamer. With Halloween quickly approaching, this could be a great resource.
Fortnite’s Gaming Legends series keeps getting better and better every day. With the addition of two Resident Evil megastars who have been part of gaming royalty since 1996, Fortnite can show its appreciation for one of those original gamers who would sneak around corners and drop your weapon in an enemy’s face-type games.
Chris Redfield has been seen in Resident Evil: Village more often than we saw him in 1996.
Res Evil is a Capcom classic, and the arcade giant has many characters that would make fantastic Fortnite skins. We’ve already seen the Street Fighter collaboration that brought Chun Li, Ryu, and Cammy to the island.
Are there more Capcom titans in the making?
We might see Mega Man, Rad Spencer, and Arthur from Ghosts n Goblins shortly. What would that look like?
Now, back to Resident Evil folks. Both skins can be purchased now, with Chris also offering an alternate look that closely matches his look in Resident Evil: Village.
On the other side, Jill has an alt skin more like the one she wore in Resident Evil 3. These are all very cool tributes to a great videogame franchise.
Each will set you back 1,500 V Bucks. It’s not expensive to get the look. You can also purchase the Team S.T.A.R.S bundle, which costs 2100 V-Bucks. This bundle also includes a bonus loading screen.
The Team Gear bundle includes a few pickaxes and the Brolly Stroll emote, which costs an additional 1300 V-Bucks.
We doubt that the price will deter you from Res Evil if you’re a big fan.
