VALORANT Champions: Qualified teams, Start Date, Prize pool And Everything We Know

VALORANT Champion 2021 will be the biggest year-end event and feature the best of each region. The VCT Stage 2 or 3 winners automatically qualify for the Champions.

To secure a place in the Champions’ Round, teams from around the world have competed through three stages. To make it a 16-team pool, four teams will now have to pass Last Chance Qualifiers.

The majority of the LCQs are completed all over the globe and fans wait to see who is the VCTNA Last Chance Qualifier. Full Sense, Furia, and Team Liquid have booked their spots for the year-end event.

This is everything you need about the VALORANT Champions 2021 event.

Start Date for VALORANT Champions

The VALORANT Champions 2021 will be held between 2nd and 19th December. Riot Games has yet to reveal the prize pool. The tournament winners will be the first world champions.

The majority of teams that qualified thus far won Masters or gained circuit points in tournaments. These are the teams that qualified to be VALORANT Champions.

Qualified Teams for VALORANT Champions

VALORANT Champions 2021 will take place between December 1-12. The event will feature 16 teams. Twelve will qualify through performance in the regular season, while four will qualify through the Last Chance Qualifiers.

Teams from around the globe competed for the chance to be Champions throughout 2021. The three Challengers and Masters events were followed by points for the top finishers. Teams such as Sentinels or KRU qualified early to become Champions by winning their regional competition.

  • Team Vikings – BR Circuit Points
  • Keyd Stars – BR Circuit Points
  • KRU Esports-LATAM Circuit Points
  • X10 Esports – SEA Circuit Points
  • Team Secret – SEA Circuit Points

Last Chance Qualifiers

  • Cloud9 blue – NA Last Chance Qualifier.
  • Team Liquid – EMEA Last Chance Qualifier.
  • Furia – SA Last Chance Qualifier.
  • Full Sense – APAC Last Chance Qualifier

VCT Last Chance Qualifiers

NA Last Chance Qualifier

Cloud9 Blue was named the winner of the VCT NALCQ. They will be joining Team Envy and Sentinels as North America’s Champions.

VCT Last Chance Qualifier North America will resume action on the 27th of October 2021. The grand finale will take place on the 31st and will determine the final team for VALORANT Champions 2020.

EMEA Final Chance Qualifier

Team Liquid was named the winner of VCT EMEA’s Last Chance Qualifier. They will be the fourth and last team from the region.

Last Chance Qualifier

Furia was named the VCT SA Last Chance Qualifier Winner.

APAC Last Chance Qualifier

Full Sense was crowned as the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier Winner.

Schedule of VALORANT Champions

Riot Games has yet to reveal the format and schedule for the tournament. If we follow League Of Legends, then fans can expect a double round robin for the groups stages. Once the official schedule has been released, we will update this section.
