ROBLOX SERVERS GO DEAD FOR MORE THAN A DAY
The popular MMO Roblox is experiencing a massive outage that prevents users from accessing the game. It’s been more than 30 hours since the last update from Roblox Twitter. During the Roblox downtime, players took to Twitter to vent their anger.
It is extremely popular with more than 200 million active monthly players. The popularity of the game has increased dramatically in recent years, particularly during the 2020 global pandemic. This saw more people around the globe diving into virtual words. Lil Nas X hosted a free concert online, inviting everyone to come along.
Fans of games like Adopt me! or Work in a Pizza Place are expressing dismay at losing their in-game streaks and not being able to claim their rewards. The outage has also led to players requesting that the developers extend Halloween events. Others posted memes to Twitter during the outage.
Users are very upset that there has been no communication from developers regarding when the servers will return to normal. With any luck, servers will be back up in time to allow people to once again enjoy Halloween events.
Developers have confirmed that they are working hard in order to bring the servers online as quickly as possible. It is not yet known when this will happen. We will just have to wait and see when the game returns.
Roblox can be downloaded for free to mobile devices, Xbox, and PC/Mac upon the server’s return.
