Epic Games Store Receives League of Legends, VALORANT and More From Riot
Riot Games and Epic Games reached a deal to bring Riot’s top games, League of Legends PC and Legends of Runeterra to the Epic Games Store.
Each of these games are free to download and install. This will open a new Riot client that will allow players access to their new games.

League of Legends was released in 2009. It is a popular online autobattler that has been compared to Dota. This esports staple helped to establish the commercial viability and popularity of competitive video gaming.
Legends of Runeterra was released in April 2020. It is a card-based board game that draws inspiration from Magic: The Gathering, and uses characters and ideas from League of Legends legends.
VALORANT was released in June 2020. It is a team-based competitive FPS with similarities to Fortnite and Apex Legends, but with fewer margins of error and tightly-constructed encounters.
Teamfight Tactics was released for Windows, Mac, and Android/iPhones on June 2019. It is a League of Legends spinoff that features different mechanics and a focus upon teamwork.
Existing players will be able access their accounts and transfer their achievements and progress to these games.
Riot Games has made Jinx, the League of Legends character, playable on Fortnite. This is the first appearance of a Riot Games character in a non-Riot video game.
