“Halo Infinite” Is Already The Most Popular Xbox Game on Steam
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer was released in a surprise. 343 Industries, Xbox thought that it would be a wonderful treat to let us all experience the free multiplayer version of the latest Halo before the campaign’s launch at the start of December. It’s true. It’s amazing, and statistics have already shown that.
As reported by SteamDB reported that the largest number of players online simultaneously was 272,586. That’s huge.
On Twitter, Daniel Ahmad noted that Halo Infinite multiplayer launched “looks at watch” 2.5 hours ago and has already exceeded 162k concurrent users on Steam. It is now the most popular Xbox Game Studios title ever on Steam.” He also points out that Halo, The Master Chief Collection saw a peak of 161,000 while Forza Horizon5 was viewed 81,000 by players. While both were major releases, it seems that Infinite is poised for success due to the large queues for the games.
This is all good news for 343 Industries, and the launch Halo infinite next week. It will be available on December 8, just a few weeks away. You can still carry over your progress from the multiplayer section when the full game launches. So if you want to improve, it’s worth getting the game as soon as possible.
