Leon S Kennedy Actor Wants A ‘Resident Evil 4’ Movie
Resident Evil is here in the United Kingdom. It may not be a hit with many people (according to Red Tomatoes), but it is the best video game film that I have ever seen. Naturally, I want to see more movies set in the Resident Evil world. It seems that I am not the only one who likes this.
Avan Jogia, who plays Leon S Kennedy in Welcome To Racoon City, says that Resident Evil4 is something she loves. After hearing this, I had one question: Would Avan like to play Leon in a Resident Evil 4 film? He said, “Without hesitation.”
“What we have here in Raccoon City is kind of like an RE1, two hybrids. It would be interesting to create a four and 5hybrid in some way,” Tom says. “If they can do it within this grounded universe, and then capture all the moments [from games], that would be pretty amazing.”
It’s not difficult to see that Resident Evil 4 has become a beloved game. Adapting it into a movie will attract fans in both good and poor ways. Movies based on games are not often well-received, even if they’re good films in their way (see Dynasty Warriors).
Resident Evil – Welcome to Raccoon city has also divided fans with its adaptation choices, such as the portrayals of Leon Kennedy. You can’t start Leon as the policeman who knows what to do. Avan explains that Leon cannot be the President’s bodyguard.
As Avan explains, this interpretation is clearly from a good place. “I am one of the fans. Because I am them, there is no separation between me & the people watching this movie.
The film is a love letter to the series. The movie’s aesthetic matches the world of Resident Evil 2 . There are also many references throughout, including the keys from 2019’s Resident Evil 2 and a piano puzzle inspired by the 1996 original.
I asked Avan and Tom how Resident Evil is a movie for fans. Both answered that they knew the task. Tom says, “It’s how it was pitched to me.” Avan agrees with Tom: “That was the honest plan.”
Both actors are not done with Resident Evil yet. Avan asserts, “They’re going do a Marvel thing.” Avan declares, “They’re going to do a Marvel thing.” Tom agrees, “We’ll just do one way down.” Tom responds, “Oh, there’s your movie!”
Resident Evil: I welcome you to Raccoon city’s legacy. I am a massive fan of this movie, no matter what happens. Although I have spoken extensively about it in my review, it is worth repeating how much this movie feels like Resi. It’s funny, heartwarming, scary, and sometimes even frightening. Although it may not be the movie that many critics expected, I find it excellent.
