Arnold Schwarzenegger is up for a new ‘The Running Man’ game.
GAMINGbible has learned that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be open to returning to The Running Man. This is his 1987 cult action film in line with current battle royale gaming trends. We asked him if he would like to see any older movies remade for modern gamers. He said The Running Man was the best choice for a multiplayer experience.
GAMINGbible had the opportunity to speak with Arnold Schwarzenegger, an action movie legend. He is currently featured in the World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2022 activity. All kinds of Arnold-themed goodies can be unlocked by game players from December 9 (so right now) through January 10, 2022 (so next year). You can even create your own Arnold avatar to serve as your tank commander. You can also find new lines by the actor for the game.
Our full interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger will be available soon. But before that, we’ll return to The Runnin’ Man. The movie stars Jesse Ventura and Yaphet Ktto and is directed by Paul Michael Glaser. It also stars Maria Conchita Alonso and Maria Conchita Alonso.
Schwarzenegger’s character Ben Richards is framed. He appears on the show trying to survive while being hunted down by superhero-ish characters like Dynamo, Buzzsaw, and Captain Freedom. Its format is ideal for modern multiplayer games, whether it’s an asymmetrical one like Dead by Daylight or a large-scale battle royale where 100 players compete to be the last person standing.
Arnold said that he didn’t have much time to play video games when we asked if he had ever experienced the arcade rush in America in the late 1970s or early 1980s. “I’m impressed that gaming is more popular than it was years ago. Video games are becoming more mainstream and a regular part of our daily lives, much like TV and movies.
We continued the conversation by asking if any of his older movies might be revived for today’s gamers. We’ve seen games based on The Terminator and Predator, so why not The Running Man. It did receive a home computer game adaptation in 1989. The 1990 arcade hit SmashTV also took apparent inspiration from the movie – but that’s a while.
He said, “That would be fun. I’m certain the fans would love to play a Running Man“ “Although I don’t play a lot of games, I would love to see the final product. If you have someone to do it, I’ll be there to lend my support!
Developers, here’s your challenge for 2022. Create a game that is based on The Running Man together. Arnold will be present to record lines. You can find our full interview with Arnold online, where we will discuss all things World of Tanks and his gaming habits and modern cinema techniques.
