THE OUTER WORLDS IMPROVE GRAPHICS- HOW TO REMOVE BLURRINESS, CHROMATIC ABERRATION, TAA, AND APPLY RESHADE
The Outer Worlds has been a great game and looks fantastic. However, a few quirks in the graphics seem to be limiting the game’s potential. Is there a The Outer Worlds graphics guide available? You bet you’re reading it.
We will show you how we can remove blurriness from The Outer Worlds. This includes getting rid of Chromatic Aberration and increasing TAA. Finally, applying ReShade filters for a more excellent look – all this without editing a single.ini file. Let’s take a look.
The Outer Worlds graphics guide improved – Remove Chromatic Aberration.
Chromatic Aberration is one of the oddest graphical effects around, as it adds a color distortion or slight blur to the edge of objects. Unfortunately, this has the effect, especially in The Outer Worlds, of just making the game look completely blurry – when it doesn’t need to be.
The in-game menu cannot turn off Chromatic Aberration, but there’s an easy-to-install mod that can do this for you at no extra cost. It’s easy to download and extract. You’ll then see two folders, one for Epic and one for Windows Store versions. Run ‘RunMe.bat” in the folder that corresponds to the version of The Outer Worlds. The mod will be installed, and the game will look sharper.
The Outer Worlds enhance graphics – increase TAA, and other improvements
If you want a general improvement mod that’ll increase and sharpen temporal AA, remove Chromatic Aberration and other improvements, give The Tweaked Outer Worlds mod a try. It’ll generally improve all the graphics in the game with some simple tweaks that shouldn’t have any apparent impact on performance.
ReShade is a powerful tool to improve graphics in the Outer Worlds.
If you want all these improvements but also want to apply ReShade for an even bigger revamp of the graphics in The Outer Worlds, head here to get the Terraformed ReShade mod . a new level of depth, color, visual effects, sharpness, HDR, and extra tweaks from the fantastic ReShade installer.
Extract and copy everything from the ‘Main Files’ folder provided to The Outer Worlds\Indiana\Binaries\Win64, then launch the ReShade Installer & select IndianaEpicGameStore-Win64-Shipping.exe located in the same folder. When ReShade asks if you would like additional. fx files, say “yes.”
To open ReShade Menu Overlay in-game, press and hold the End key to toggle the main effects. PageDown to toggle depth of field. Rename the “dxgi,” which ReShade installs to theWin64 folder, to “d3d11” if you experience any issues. ReShade files should permanently be removed before installing new ones.
You will enjoy a better-looking version of The Outer Worlds!
