CHIVALRY 2 ROADMAP: NEW MAPS, MODES, WEAPONS, HORSES AND MORE
Chivalry2 is already making heads. The medieval first-person slasher’s launch is just the beginning. The roadmap of developer Torn Banner Studios outlines the company’s plans for the sequel to the much-anticipated game. Things are looking good.
The Chivalry2 roadmap provides a general overview of the game’s future direction, both near and long-term. The top priorities include horses, unofficial server support and higher party size limits.

The title’s launch was delayed by server issues, but the developer quickly stabilized things and continued to examine and improve server performance and address rubberbanding issues.
The first patch was more minor and addressed party invites and parties on the Epic Games Store. It also fixed an issue where players missed their first spawn after matches began.
The first major content update to Chivalry 2 included the Galencourt Team Objective map (and Courtyard map), playable in multiple modes. Character customization options include an arrow cam, player profile screen and text moderation tools.
When patch 2.2 was released, the game received Brawl and Last Team Standing mode updates, along with a Rapier weapon and Halloween event. Headbutts were also introduced to the game at this time.
In Patch 2.3, the Christmas holiday event was introduced in December. It featured snowballs that you could throw at your mortal enemies. The Warbow has given archers an extra tool and, if you’re really into Brawl mode, there’s a new Cathedral map.
The Trello roadmap outlines three future updates expected to be available in 2022. Patch 2.4 will add a new Team Objective map, The Raid on Aberfell, to which carryable livestock and peasants and the Highland Sword are added as an additional weapon.
Patch 2.5 will finally introduce cross-platform parties as well as a console browser. The next update is still unknown.
Chivalry 2’s could be subject to changes. However, it is encouraging to see both fixes and new content.
Chivalry 2 is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Let’s look at the four classes that you can use if you choose to get it.
