Get one of the best Tomb Raider games for free on your PC
The Epic Games Store now offers the Tomb Raider Trilogy for free. The definitive editions of all three Eidos Montreal games are available in a deal that lasts until January 6. It also includes tons of DLC.
The Game of the Year Tomb Raider (2013) Edition, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration bundles include bonus tombs, outfits and weapons as well as other goodies for the PC versions. All of that is wonderful and all, but I am just asking everyone I know to at least try the first game in this series.
It’s about Lara Croft and Samantha Nishimura saving each other. There’s also a lot of stuff in between that isn’t about them. The game doesn’t tell us they were like. Jackson Lanzing later confirmed that Lara and Sam were supposed to declare their love in the comic series. Although the whole thing is more like a “gals are pals” thing in Tomb Raider it still almost touched my romantic itch. Almost.

I was disappointed by Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. However, there are still parts that I like. The Trilogy has some of my favorite in-game weapons (I love the bow) and although I don’t believe any of the puzzle-solving will ever capture me the same way games from my childhood, I was still captivated by them all despite not liking most action titles.
This is all to say that Epic Games are worth a try if you have the time and are willing make an Epic Games account.
