This Pokemon Short about Bidoof is the Cutest I’ve Ever Seen.
I have consumed quite a bit of Pokémon stuff over the years, but my heart was so much more prominent after watching the Bidoof’s Big Stand animated video. This short is just a tiny portion of the 26-year-old series’ total output.
Bidoof is a beaver Pokemon who debuted in Pokemon Diamond & Pearl. He’s a Lil doofus. It’s also well-known for its ability to learn many hidden moves that open up the world, making it a staple at Sinnoh party events. Bidoof, a Pokemon player who can perform these moves to navigate the world in the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes, is a common name.
The Pokemon Company gets the joke. Bidoof’s Big Stand gives the little guy a chance to shine on the screen. The usual series mascot Pikachu appears briefly at the beginning of the animation but is soon forgotten in favour of Bidoof, who becomes the main focus of the animated short.
Bidoof will make an appearance alongside many of the Sinnoh Pokemon, which debuted in Diamond & Pearl when it arrives on Switch on January 28. It took place in an earlier version of the region when it was called Hisui. The game will tell the story about the ancestors and leaders of Diamond & Pearl characters such as Professor Rowan and Team Galactic boss Cyrus. Although its world appears to be the largest of all Pokemon games, it does not appear to be open-world.
