“Dying Light 2” lays out five months of its five-year DLC Roadmap.

Techland, developers of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, released yesterday (25/01/) a roadmap showing five months worth of content in return for its minimum five-year support. This is in addition to the 500 hours of entertainment that the developers promised. Initially, players believed this was for the primary story campaign. However, we were later assured that it was for those who wanted to complete the game to 100%.

This road map lists one pack of additional content per calendar month with four free and one paid DLC pack. Although the road map doesn’t outline what DLC packs will be included, the image provides some context. The first DLC pack, which is Faction-inspired and free, will be released on February fourth for all platforms too. It appears to include costumes as well as weapons.

Are you curious to see what Dying Light 2’s 500 hours of gameplay will offer? Check out the video below to see some of the gameplay.

March brings us our first set of challenges. April will bring us a series featuring mutated, infected enemies. This is a new type of enemy. These will be available for free, along with the May second set of challenges.

The first DLC paid for was the biggest DLC announced on the roadmap. It is scheduled to be released in June. This will allow players the opportunity to continue on Dying Light 2’s main storyline. However, very little information is available about it.

Techland has also released the outline of the next five months, as well as other planned content, including new enemies, weapons, stories, and events, as well as another paid story-based DLC.

Techland is confident in its product, but Dying light has not been released. To ensure that enough players are still active in five years, the game will need a dedicated player base.
