An old dog can’t be kept down. After his 2013 film, The Wolf Among Us, Bigby Wolf will be making a comeback. Fans have been waiting for a sequel since 2013, and it appears that they will soon get their wish. Geoff Keighley of The Game Awards has announced a stream for February 9, th. The game’s first trailer and more details will be displayed there. Are fans likely to be able to receive a release date? If so, will this be a single game or an episodic?
The Big Bad Backstory
The Wolf Among Us, a narrative game, takes place in Bill Willingham’s Fables universe. The series’ favourite Bigby Wolf is the role that players assume.
Bigby, voiced by Adam Harrington and with a smoking growl that would make Geralt proud, is a detective unlike any other. Bigby is the Sherriff in Fabletown, and he protects the secrets and shadows of Fabletown’s storybook community. Although he tries to protect Fabletown’s interests, many residents harbour resentment about his time as “The Big Bad Wolf”.
Bigby became involved in plotting those who would exploit Fabletown’s residents to their advantage throughout the season. Fables and The Wolf Among Us are characterized by the clash of storybook creatures with mature content. Violence and extortion are not uncommon, even for talking toads or gargoyles.
The Wolf Among Us – Telltale’s Triumph
The Wolf Among Us is the most loved game in developer Telltale Games. Fans had hoped for a sequel but their hopes were crushed when the studio was abruptly shut down. It was revived later with The Wolf Among Us 2 as a priority. The first game was confirmed in 2019, , and fans have been without any news since then.
The fact that The Wolf Among Us 2 is being billed specifically as ‘Season 2″ suggests it will be a continuation of the original. This is a way to draw upon the positive reviews of the original game. However, it is not clear how many narrative threads will be kept. Some things may be dropped. Some lines in detective noir are best not followed and forgotten.
