Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains a popular launch title for Nintendo Switch and a Wii U remake. It’s not hard to see why. Nintendo is now striking while the iron is hot by announcing a DLC paid pass. This will allow the game to add many remastered courses. See the trailer below.

The Booster Course Pass will include six waves of eight courses. All courses are expected to be available by the end of 2023. These courses will consist of favourites from all over the Mario Kart series. They include beloved favourites like Double Dash, Mario Kart 64 and even more controversial entries like Mario Kart Tour. Someone will likely be thrilled about it.

The pre-orders for this new pass are open today. The first wave will launch on March 18th. It’ll cost $24.99. But the catch is that it will also be available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. This includes the Mega Drive emulators and N64 emulators. It makes the Pack look more appealing, but if your goal is only to play Mario Kart, the pass will not be available…
