A stunning new trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic has been released
A whole host of teasers and announcements have been made recently for Star Wars gaming fans. EA revealed last month that three Star Wars video games are in development by Respawn Entertainment, Bit Reactor. Respawn is currently working on a Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order sequel and an FPS title based on the galactic empire. Bit Reactor is currently using its XCOMchops for a Star Wars strategy title.
There’s more. Quantic Dream is working on a Star Wars Eclipse game, if that’s not enough Jedi vs Sith action. KoeiTecmo, Dynasty Warriors’ developers, expressed an interest in Star Wars-themed musou games. Phew. Phew.
The Legacy Of The Sith expansion is out today. The team has released a CGI cinematic trailer to show you what’s been happening. The new trailer was developed by Bioware and LucasFilm Games and shows Sa’har as a young Jedi, in training, lightsaber battles, and copious amounts force. It’s difficult to believe that this trailer is all CG.
We don’t see any gameplay, but we do get a glimpse of the backstory that shows how simple it is for Jedi to transform Sith. The Old Republic has a reputation for making great cinematic trailers, with this one, Disorder being the sixth.
