We are all familiar with the jargon on the packaging. Peanuts packets that say “May contain nuts,” clothes that say “Do not iron while you wear,” and chainsaws with signs such as “Do NOT hold onto the chain while it is in use” We all know that this is to protect the company from any legal problems. We don’t need to be reminded of this essential information often, however.

Nintendo has set up a Japanese customer support Twitter account to save the day. It mostly tweets helpful information, such as where you can find FAQs, what extra storage you could buy, or what new Switch game is coming out. Sometimes, however, it offers some great pearls of wisdom that children will appreciate. However, it wouldn’t help children as it is written in kanji that they don’t understand, and it’s posted on Twitter, which they shouldn’t be.

GAMINGbible translated it as “f your Nintendo Switch is dropped on a hard surface or floor, even if it ddoesn’tbreak, buttons and sticks might not work.”It is important not to drop the Nintendo Switch or strike it against any complex objects.

What about the water that leaks from your bottle or spills from your cup? These are all situations that can cause damage to your Nintendo Switch. Avoid placing your Switch near a humidifier or in high humidity areas.

Or, a personal favorite: “hen you aaren’tlooking, your Nintendo Switch is your ppet’stoy!” discovered in saliva by the time you notice. Your system can become clogged with urine and pet salts, which can cause it to malfunction. Please be mindful of where your Switch is left if you have pets.

Thank you, Nintendo Customer Support sama. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without your help.
