SNIPER ELITE5 RELEASED DATE – HERE’S WHEN ITS LAUNCHES
Elite 5’s launch date is set to arrive 16 years after Rebellion’s stealth-focused, third-person shooter series. Karl Fairburne’s efforts against the Nazi threat led him to France, where he could see a lot of improvements and a fresh take on PvP.
The developer teased the game’s release date at The Game Awards 2021, but it was finally revealed in December during ID@Xbox Gathering Showcase.
The release date for Sniper Elite 5 was set to be announced on March 16, 2022. To promote the announcement, Rebellion posted a teaser on Tweet before later confirming the game’s launch date on May 26.

In the series’s latest instalment, players travel to France as the Allies prepare for the Normandy Invasion. Karl Fairburne was initially attached to a covert US Ranger operation that aimed to weaken Nazi fortifications in Brittany. However, he ends up stranded inland and works with the French Resistance to end Operation Kraken. This includes taking out key Nazi officers.
Sniper Elite 5’s campaign takes you through many real-world locations. You can play the missions in single-player mode for those who want to experience lone wolves or with a friend in co-op.
The title allows you to invade other players’ campaigns and play the Nazi sniper role. Karl can also call on a second sniper for help against the new threat and soldiers already spread throughout the region.
The launch also includes gun customization, enhanced traversal, killcam and other features. Sniper Elite 5’s Steam page has more information.
The game will also be available for PC Game Pass upon launch.
