After the “Pay-ToWin” Update, ‘Gran Turismo7’ is reviewed.

You may have missed another AAA title in March due to Elden Ring’s hype.

Gran Turismo7 was a little under the radar, but people were positive. We praised GT7in our eight out of ten reviews, saying, “It serves both as a perfect first experience and a welcome return for those who have been away for some time.”

It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Polyphony made a bizarre move to insert microtransactions in the game shortly after receiving reviews. The studio also did the double-whammy by decreasing the rewards for races simultaneously. Those looking for the best cars will have to grind them for days or spend $40 in real money to unlock them.

This decision was not taken lightly by fans. Players have provided feedback on Metacritic review aggregate site to ensure that Polyphony knows exactly what they think. GT7 currently has a rating of 3.7% out of 10. Ouch! Ouch!

“Polyphony also changed the game, primarily reducing the number of credits you can win from racing. You may be wondering why? To push their microtransactions! They tried to get me to pay 100 euro, and then they tried to convince me to buy credit to purchase higher-end cars. Wow!

It is unacceptable for Polyphony to change the credit amount given to races, even though they also sell in-game currency. It isn’t nice that the game had to be connected online, and then the servers went down for most of the day.

“This game is 80 euros and has micro-transactions, just like it’s free-to-play. This exclusive Sony game is first-party! This is not Candy Crush! It is not Candy Crush!

Let’s hope that Polyphony and other companies looking to make more from full-price games will listen to our feedback.
