The adventure of Kratos is filled with memorable moments and famous lines. Christopher Judge, Kratos’ voice actor, did a wonderful job of bringing life to the character. But not all of his work made it to the final cut. I guarantee you will see why.
Given the response it received in the studio, it’s quite surprising they didn’t cut the line. Freya’s voice actor Danielle Bisutti can be heard saying, “That’s amazing. I hope you guys keep this in there.” They didn’t cut the line, but we got to hear it behind-the scenes.
A lot of mods have been created for the PC version of the game, including one that reuses yet more dialogue from Christopher Judge. This mod also includes dad jokes that the studio didn’t want to include in the final game. Yes, the Lamb’s Cress voice line is also in there. Modders are truly a blessing for the gaming community.
Another God of War news: An insider claims that a TV version of the game could soon be available on Prime Video. It’s being developed by The Expanse creators Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby, as well as The Wheel of Time executive host Rafe Judkins, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television.
