GTA+: Release Date, Price & What You Need to Know
Rockstar has announced that they will be adding a subscription service to GTA Online called GTA+. This will provide players with a lot of goodies on a month-to-month basis. It’s amazing that this took nearly a decade. This is everything you need to know about it and the potential benefits it could bring.
What is GTA+?
GTA+ is a monthly subscription that gives players both new and old access to GTA Online content such as properties, vehicles and auto shop upgrades. It costs a small fee per month.
The announcement posted gives a complete list of the rewards you can receive with GTA+ in the first month (March 29th – April 27th). However, the language makes it sound as though there will be different rewards for each month.
Here are the GTA+ deals for month one:
GTA$500,000 automatically transferred to your Maze Bank account
– The Principe deveste Eight, along with a complimentary Hao’s Special Works upgrade before it is made readily available for purchase by the general public. Also included are the HSW Orange Trip (and HSW CMYK Glatch Liveries).
The Auto Shop in La Mesa introduces a variety of gameplay updates by Los Santos Tuners. Existing Auto Shop owners are welcome to relocate to La Mesa for no additional charge.
– No LS Car Meet membership fees. During this event, GTA$50,000 will be refunded to current LS Car Meet members who have GTA+.
Yacht owners have the option to upgrade to the Aquarius Super Yacht for no additional charge.
Your wardrobe will automatically be updated with the Gusset Frog Tee, Broker Prolaps Basketball Top, and Shorts.
– Conveyor Livery of the Mammoth Avenger.
– Free paints and emblems in the Auto Shop
Hao’s Special Works Race Series: 3X GTA$ and RP
2X Car Meet Rep in the Street Race Series.
– Each month, new items from “Legendary Motor, Hao’s Special Works and Maze Bank Foreclosures,” DockTease and other stores, in addition to regular GTA Online events, which will continue for all players.
If you require extra cash, special GTA+ shark cards are available
GTA+ Prices
GTA+ will cost $5.99 per month in the US. However, it has not yet been revealed what the price will go in other countries. Rockstar has been contacted for comment.
5.99 Pounds is equivalent to PS4.54 at the moment of writing. However, it’s assumed that you would be paying around PS4.99 if your home is in the UK.
GTA+ Platforms
S versions of GTA Online, meaning if you’re playing on the PS4, Xbox One and PC, you won’t be able to subscribe. Rockstar’s vision of the future makes it sensible that older platforms don’t get the subscription. However, it is strange that GTA+ won’t be available on PC.
GTA+ Release Date
S users from March 29th, 2022 meaning it’ll be available in just a few days at the time of writing. It might not be enough for lapsed gamers to get back into GTA Online but it will be an exciting announcement for those who spend a lot in Los Santos.
