Drew McIntyre is reportedly the Scottish Psychopath who turned down a Wrestlemania entrance on Saturday night. According to rumours McIntyre was to arrive at Happy Corbin’s match wearing a kilt and be escorted by a group of Scots with swords. To better connect with the crowd, McIntyre decided to make a standard entrance.

McIntyre didn’t make this decision because he was short on time or creatively lacking. Drew felt that adding flair to McIntyre’s entrance would hurt his relationship with his fans who desired a natural entrance from the Scotsman. This was exactly what McIntyre received at Wrestlemania this year and it worked pretty well for him.

Drew defeated Happy Corbin in Saturday’s second match of Wrestlemania: Saturday. He kicked out of Corbin’s End of Days finisher, a move that was previously protected.

Drew’s entry was cut but those who were involved in it were still paid and provided with.
