According to Metacritic, the Worst PlayStation 5 Games so Far

Just one and a quarter years ago, the PlayStation 5 was released. It has already seen its fair share of great games. It has also seen some blunders.

Which games should you avoid? According to Metacritic, we’ve selected the worst games so far. But I want to emphasize that anything scoring over 50 is not bad. It’s a little naff. It’s likely that the PlayStation 5 will continue its life. Many of the average, bland games on this list will be pushed to the bottom by some realshit, so they can live where their hearts are: in the middle.

Rustler is described as a mix between The Witcher and the original Grand Theft Auto. It’s an average mediaeval romp, but it’s not bad. It’s not a terrible game by any means, but it’s one of the weakest on PS5 at the moment.

Tennis World Tour 2 – Big Ant Studios, 2021 (58)

Tennis World Tour II is not for you if you are a fan of tennis. It boasts a great mix of modes, lots of content, but it is hard to forget that the real tennis – the heart and soul of the game– is quite lacking.

Cloud the Snail – Weird Beluga Studio 2021 (58).

The idea of a top-down shooter where I can play as a snail to defeat hordes is appealing to me. Cloud the Snail‘s idea is a bit weak in execution. The frustrating gameplay is made worse by the difficult-to-follow actions when there are too many happening on screen. This happens because it’s an action-shooter. It was a little slow for my taste.

Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance Turque Games, 2021 (57).

Divinity Origin Sin II is a great Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. Dark Alliance isn’t it. This adventure-focused action game attempts to capture the spirit of the classic tabletop game but never quite succeeds.

Recompile- Phigames 2021 (56)

Recompileis an innovative Metroidvania that combines minimalist visuals and a compelling story that tackles some heavy themes. The platforming and gameplay are mediocre, which is a problem in a game that requires you to spend a lot of time backtracking.

Necromunda: Hired Gun – Streum On Studio, 2021 (56)

Necromunda – Hired Gun is a bit heartbreaking. This shooter has excellent gunplay and lots of gore. It is a great place to begin shooting! It’s unfortunately plagued by a poor story, terrible AI and many technical problems.
