STORY-DRIVEN TIMES MANIPULATION GAME ETERNAL TREADS LOCKS DOWN THE RELEASED DATE TO MAY
Today, Secret Mode Publisher and Cosmonaut Studios Developer announced that the release date for the story-driven puzzle game Elternal Threads has been set to the second half of May. A demo version of Steam will be available prior to launch. This allows players to play up to an hour of gameplay.
Eternal Threads is a game about time manipulation. Players take on the role of an operative who fixes corruption in the timestream and ensures that six housemates survive a house fire.
But the twist is that you are prohibited from stopping the fire from burning completely. Instead, you must focus on the past and manipulate the choices of the characters leading up to the incident so that everyone emerges alive.
The seven-day timeline prior to the fire is open to players from the beginning. They have full access to the whole week and can alter and view multiple events as many times and in any order they wish. “
The timeline can be affected by major changes. They can change or replace events, but they also allow for new events. Some decisions are minor, such as moving items around the house or revealing secrets and stories.
You will need to choose the right sequence of events to save your six housemates. This involves you travelling across the timeline. Eternal Threads offers many ways to succeed, but the fastest solution may not be the best for your characters.
Eternal Threads will be released on May 19, 2012, for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The demo will be available between May 2nd and May 8. The Nintendo Switch version will be available later in 2022.
