Here’s how reloading a gun made of LEGO looks
One friend of ours is whose mom wouldn’t let them buy toy guns. They are too dangerous or violent, so they made them from cereal packets and sticky tap.
One content creator took that idea to the next level. Grims_Lego is a popular TikTok user with over half a million followers. They are eager to see how he creates realistic guns from LEGO. Grims allows fans to vote on the subsequent guns to be built. He has made everything from a double-barreled shotgun with a sawed-off barrel to a submachine gun. Even more impressive is that all of Grims’ guns are composed entirely of buildable blocks.
The guns aren’t made entirely of LEGO. Elastic bands enabled the parts to move and snap or reload. It’s incredible what Grims managed to accomplish with so little material when looking at complex mechanisms like those used to make a gun.
Many are disappointed that the guns won’t fire. Incredibly, he managed to create as many parts from LEGO as he could move. This is since LEGO is so unstable. Despite the instability, he made chambers for reloading and hinges that open barrels. He also created triggers that can be moved.
Grims also conducts polls to determine which gun he should build next. Each model is designed from scratch by Grims, so each one takes him a lot of time. His tutorials are available for anyone who uses LEGO at home so others can master them.
We could have cool LEGO guns if we put as much effort into our childhood hobbies.
