SATISFACTORY UPDATE 6, RELEASE DATE: NOW IS THE TIME IT MAY LAUNCH ON THE EXPERIMENTAL BENCH
As Satisfactory continues to make its way through early access, Coffee Stain Studios shared the first details about Update 6, including its content and how it differs from its peers. Also, the release date.
Satisfactory’s update 6, which will be released on April 1, 2016, will improve exploration by introducing a new biome and changing the behavior of creatures.
Satisfactory Update 6 Release Date
The northern section of the map will be replaced by a biome called The Spire coast, described as “a tranquil tropical coastal area, dominated primarily by large spires that could create an interesting challenge to vertically aligned factory builder. “
The swamp’s vegetation will also be rehabilitated, making it more unsettling and noxious.
The creatures’ spawn system, behavior, and appearance will be reworked, combat mechanics and the in-game menu.
Satisfactory’s update 6 may be smaller than usual and spend less time on the experimental branch. This is because the developer wants to focus its efforts on the long-awaited version 1.0.
It doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but the developer currently plans to make it live on the experimental branch sometime in June.
This is a common occurrence with early access updates. However, the developer has committed to being more transparent about what it is doing.
