It is crucial to rank up weapons in Warzone for you to have full access to the attachments.

Many are learning the Nikita AVT assault rifle and the M1916 marksman weapon. Season 3 of battle royale is in full swing. It is a Double-XP event that allows you to increase your weapon level quickly.

Players noticed that some weapons were not progressing as intended, preventing them from unlocking attachments.

Despite scoring kills on Caldera or Rebirth Island, players who used the KG M40 and Volk, AS44 and NZ-41 rifles and the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle didn’t earn any Weapon XP.

The issue was not overlooked, however. Raven Software announced on May 3 that it was investigating the issue affecting players. This is a positive development for players who want to achieve the highest level possible with these weapons.

Raven Software has not yet shared the cause of the problem, but it is interesting that the bug only affects a few Vanguard weapons rather than any Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War guns.

Even though the developer didn’t specify the reason, the May 4th update fixed the problem and allowed all players to rank up their affected weapons without difficulty.

Although the issue may not be ideal, Raven Software’s speed in finding a solution is impressive. The developer continues to support Warzone. We hope that the bug does not impact weapon progression in Season 3 meta.
