The ‘Sonic Adventure Band Crush 40 Could Soundtrack the Third Sonic Movie
Sonic The Hedgehog was recently the most successful videogame adaptation ever made.
Although video game adaptations can be disastrous, Sonic The Hedgehog II was a solid achievement. It’s no surprise that there is a third Sonic movie. We also learned that Sonic Adventure band Crush 40 was open to soundtracking the film.
Sonic Adventure was first released on SEGA in 1998. If you haven’t already, you should. The soundtrack is great. “Open Your Heart” didn’t have to be slapped that hard, but that’s due to Johnny Gioeli’s genius and Jun Senoue.
Crush 40 was kind enough to chat with us about Sonic, and we found out that they are 100% down to score a third Sonic movie if the chance presents itself.
“Absolutely one-million percent yes. Gioeli said that he had spoken to them and that he reached out to them. “I’m ready for that, and I’ll give it to you. While we want to write many songs, we also have some reflective material. We want to write lots of songs. Of course, we still have our nostalgia stuff. But we also want to add some new material, should Sonic 3 happen.
Crush 40 sounds open to writing new music and bringing back their old material. Hear me, ‘Live and Learn’ playing during the finale of Sonic’s third film… cinematic perfection, chef’s kiss.
