Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are Launched Worldwide in November
The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have announced that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will launch worldwide on the Nintendo Switch starting November 18th. The duo released a new gameplay trailer to celebrate the launch. You can see it at the top.
The new Pokemon games break with the traditional Pokemon formula. Scarlet and Violet are the original open-world RPGs in the series. The game’s storyline will not restrict players from exploring the world in their way. While you’ll still likely be visiting towns and earning badges, the story doesn’t dictate how you should explore the world. This is what makes the game so enjoyable.
There are differences between Scarlet & Violet. Both games have their Legendary Pokemon, Koraidon & Miraidon. Each game will also have its professor, a first in a series. This means that each game will be more unique than ever.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet also offers the most connected multiplayer experience, with up to four players able to explore the world, trade Pokemon, and even battle. Although it’s unclear what modes you can interact with other players, there are likely to be similar mechanics to Sword and Shield Dynamax battles. I want to fight raid boss Pokemon with my friends.
