Fortnite: Is Doctor Slone Still Alive After The Collision?
After Fortnite’s most recent live event spectacle, The Collision left the question unanswered as to Doctor Slone. He is a primary antagonist. As ambiguous as a giant robot crushing Slone’s hand can make it. Is Slone dead in Fortnite?
Since her childhood, Slone was indoctrinated into the Imagined Order. She was introduced to players in Chapter 2 – Season 7. Slone is a watcher for the alien invasion. Over the seasons, Slone became more and more apparent to be one of Fortnite’s puppet masters. She had players complete Quests, leading them into traps, and then she was forced to do their dirty work.
The Seven defeated the IO (for now), and the world-ending weapon of the Seven was destroyed by Voltron-esque MechaStrike Commander players. After that, the remaining forces took a standoff with the heroes from the Collision event. Slone held them captive with a Titan Tank but was ableMecha’sove them from their sight due to the Mecha’s last-minute power boost. She is wIt’sble to enter and close the tank safely. It’s safe to assume she has a concussion and will likely return to Fortnite iIO’sod health.
The event featured the IO’s leader. The story’s scope will expand to a degree beyond Slone and his branches. Fortnite is not unfamiliar with characters disappearing over extended periods and rethere’sng in new looks in the Item Shop. So there’s no hurry in bringing back a well-develwhat’sharacter before continuing to develop what’s before.
This is why Slone wilFortnite’sppearing chronologically to tadoesn’ttnite’she’soes for a while. But that doesn’t mean she’s gone. The upcoming Fortnite + Marvel comics will feature Slone as a consistent presence. These comics detail everything that has happened since Chapter 2, Season 8, and through Chapter 3, Season 2. The first issue will be released on June 8, 2022.
