Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5 will be coming to switch, too
The last three Persona games are now available on Nintendo consoles for the first time. Nintendo fans were concerned that the new games for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC would be delayed, despite the fact that they had been recently announced. Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed that this is not true. Persona3 Portable and Persona4 Golden as well as Persona5 Royal will all be available on Nintendo Switch, starting with royal on October 21st.
Although it’s not clear why Nintendo took so long to make the announcement, it was a small delay in comparison to other Nintendo announcements. The announcement of ports for modern platforms was hugely discussed at Microsoft’s not-E3 presentation earlier in the month when they were announced for Xbox and PC. It took several days for Microsoft to confirm that the Persona titles would be coming to PlayStation 4/5, as well as Steam.
A few weeks later, and just before the month ends, Nintendo and Atlus announced that they will also be available on Switch. Everybody can participate in the Persona Love. Persona 4 holds my most fond memories of Persona 5, which is a critically acclaimed game. I love the Inaba Detective Club story with its bright yellow UI, joyful music and dark tone. Persona 3 is another game I love. Linkshell Chief Michael Higham already wrote about how it reaching new audiences is actually a big deal .
He says, “It takes it self a bit more seriously. Which might not be why you came to persona.” Persona 3 is undoubtedly the most cast series. The dark, but still hopeful story makes it stand out. It’s available on Game Pass.
Switch is another matter entirely. Persona3 Portable Persona4 Golden and Personala5 Royal will arrive on the platform at different times. Persona5 Royal will arrive on the platform the earliest, October 21st. Persona3 Portable and Personnea4 Golden will arrive later.
