Niko was in trouble in Europe and he made the decision to move to America to live a better lifestyle. Roman is looking for a partner to help him achieve the American Dream. Niko, who was a traitor to him and his friend in wartime and now lives in Liberty City is also looking for Niko.
Niko discovers quickly that Roman is not wealthy and very successful when he arrives in Liberty City. Roman, his girlfriend Mallorie, and a small taxi business are in deep debt.
In Hove Beach, an area populated mainly by Eastern European immigrants and their small apartments, Roman lives with Niko in a tiny apartment.
Niko orders Roman, his creditor “Vlad”, and he has connections with the Russian mafia. This is his first order. Niko’s first girlfriend Michelle was his sidekick Little Jacob.
He is a Jamaican drug dealer and Brucie Kibbutz, a steroid-using fitness fanatic. It turns out Vlad is also in a relationship with Mallorie (Roman’s girlfriend), and is always threatening and harassing his cousins.
