Call of Duty 2 is an American studio Infinity Ward-created first-person shooter set during World War II that debuted on both personal computers (October 25, 2005) and Xbox 360 console (November 22), two parts in their series called Call of Duty. Both versions had separate releases dates: the PC version was first made available on October 25, while Xbox 360 owners got it November 22. This game continues the story started by its predecessor Call of Duty in 2005.
Call of Duty 2 allows players to play as one of four soldiers: Russian Vasily Kozlov private, British Sergeant John Davis, tank driver David Welsh from Great Britain and Corporal Bill Taylor [13]. Set during 1941-1945 and featuring Stalingrad battleground, El Alamein battle and Operation Overlord operation as key elements, Call of Duty 2 brought advanced visuals as well as treatment by rest and checkpoint system that differ from previous parts in series.
