Leader Swap was introduced into the game as an innovative feature to allow for easier fighting between opponent characters by switching out your main on-point character for one of your support characters; these actions may or may not include cancelling into and out of various actions as needed to maintain balance; any character swapped out shares the same life bar and Awakening state status with its primary counterpart for added balance.
