Konami confirms that future Metal Gear Solid remakes will be produced as long as fans want them.

After much speculation and anticipation, Konami officially confirmed their plans to remake Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater during a recent PlayStation Showcase event.

Konami plans on building its MGS3 remake from scratch and promises it to be an accurate depiction of its source material, which should make for an immersive gaming experience. Virtuos, an in-house studio developed by Konami to assist other major projects including Horizon Forbidden West, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 and New World will assist with development as well.

“Konami announced they are recreating Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater – one of the beloved Metal Gear series games featuring Snake’s origin story – as Metal Gear Solid D: Snake Eater in order to provide fans with an experience as faithful a recreation as the original in terms of story, game design and visuals as possible, yet with seamless user experiences for optimal gameplay.”

“Our goal with Metal Gear Solid D: Snake Eater is ensuring it remains faithful in terms of original narrative design whilst modernizing and expanding gameplay by evolving gameplay with stunning visuals for enhanced user experiences that surpass even what existed at launch!” said Konami in statement.

“Our goal for Metal Gear Solid D: Snake Eater is an faithful recreation that stays faithful in both story design while evolving gameplay with stunning visuals for enhanced user experiences and smooth user journey. We strive hard so it delivers this time around!” “Konami stated “We are working tirelessly at recremaking an installment called Metal Gear Solid D: Snake Eater is an accurate recreation of its predecessor while updating gameplay with stunning visuals for an enhanced user journey experience with seamless user journey!”

Snake Eater to ensure faithful recreation while creating visuals while evolving gameplay seamlessly seamlessly user journey!” Konami said Konami in statement about Metal Gear D Snake Eater to recreate original Story/game! : Snake Eater is faithful recreation, we promise: Snake Eater game design while adding stunning visuals visuals while evolving it will bring stunning visuals as part two seamlessly while evolving for fans as original story/Game design without compromise for fans alike alike!” ”

Konami explained what this triangle symbol stands for after unveiling their remake game, “Wing Commander III Remake.”

“Delta (D) symbol was selected because its symbolic meaning fits with the concept behind this project,” stated MGS official page on social media. Delta stands for change or differences without alteration to structures.

As an appropriate debut in this new phase of Metal Gear Solid remakes, Snake Eater provides the ideal starting point – taking place chronologically at the very start of series’ development – making this title ideal for beginning this remaster project. If this success can continue apace then Peace Walker and/or 1998 PS1 game might soon follow as possibilities.

Well, Konami recently confirmed more remakes could be in store in response to player demand in an IGN Reddit post and has stated they “will listen and consider accordingly”.

Konami may seem unclear with their message here, yet their statement seems to imply the potential of more Metal Gear Solid remakes and it makes perfect business sense as this strategy could generate revenue streams for them – especially considering Silent Hill 2 is currently set for remake! Remakes now seem to be Konami’s strategy as their current product development efforts revolve around them.

Keep in mind that Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for Nintendo GameCube was already an attempt at recreating this PS1 classic game’s experience back in 2004; however, fans likely welcome another remake to reach more people and reach mass appeal.
